The Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo Foundation, in partnership with Tonteleo Day, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, is proud to support students in our community as they prepare for a successful school year.

When you join us for The Greatest Show on Dirt on August 1 or August 2 at Georgia International Horse Park, we invite you to bring new school supplies to help children start the school year with confidence.

This year's Los Angeles rodeo gave us another opportunity to celebrate the people whose unwavering love and commitment have helped shape the legacy of the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo.

A very special thank you to Actors, Producers Glynn Turman and Reginald T. Dorsey for serving as our Grand Marshals. For more than 40 years, both gentlemen have stood beside BPIR, not just as supporters, but as members of our extended family. Their dedication, encouragement, and belief in our mission to preserve and celebrate the legacy of Black cowboys and cowgirls have never wavered.

It was truly my honor to present each of them with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of their extraordinary commitment, steadfast friendship, and decades of involvement with the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo.

We also proudly celebrated Margo Wade LaDrew, our incredible Los Angeles Coordinator and Marketing/Partnership Director on her 30th Anniversary with BPIR. Margo's passion for this organization is evident in everything she does. Her dedication, loyalty, and tireless work have helped make the Los Angeles rodeo a tremendous success year after year. Through every challenge and every triumph, her love for BPIR has never wavered.

To Glynn, Reginald, and Margo, thank you for your faithful service, your friendship, and your unwavering commitment to the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo. You have each left an indelible mark on our organization, and we are deeply grateful for all you have done and continue to do.
