Starting UGC feels confusing for a reason.

You’re learning a new skill, a new industry, and a new way of thinking... all at once.

Here’s what actually matters at the beginning:
• UGC ≠ influencing
• You don’t need fancy gear
• You learn by posting, not by waiting
• Confusion doesn’t mean you’re behind... it means you’re new

Most people quit here because they think confusion = failure.
It doesn’t.

If you’re starting UGC in 2026 and want clear steps, real feedback, and guidance without the fluff, I offer 1:1 coaching calls to help you get unstuck and moving.

Comment “UGC” if you want help mapping out your UGC journey, and I’ll send you the link.

Just a little behind-the-scenes of my filming space for my UGC business 🖤

I used to be set up upstairs and downstairs and it was way too much back and forth. I finally decided to make one dedicated room downstairs and reset everything.

Working from home as a mom can be a lot, but having a space where I can focus, create, and actually get work done helps more than I realized. This was long overdue. 🙌

If brands keep paying you $300, it’s not because they can’t afford more.

It’s because of how you answer “What’s your rate?”

Premium creators don’t guess.
They gather context, build packages, and quote with intention.

Comment UGC if you want to learn how to quote without undercutting yourself.

UGC and influencing serve completely different purposes.

Influencers sell to their own audience.
Their value is reach, trust with followers, and distribution.

UGC creators don’t sell to an audience... they create content for brands to use in their marketing.
That content can be used for ads, organic posts, landing pages, emails, and more.

That’s why follower count matters for influencing, but it’s not a requirement for UGC.

As a UGC creator, your role is to help brands hit specific goals:
• conversions and sales
• ad performance
• engagement and retention
• brand awareness

You don’t need to be loud, viral, or “on” all the time.
What you do need is:
• basic storytelling structure
• the ability to explain a product clearly
• on-camera presence that feels natural
• editing that supports the message
• understanding what the brand actually wants the video to do

UGC is not about being popular.
It’s about being useful.

That’s why UGC is a learnable skill and why brands work with creators who understand strategy, not just aesthetics.

This is exactly what I break down inside my 1:1 coaching calls so beginners don’t miss the fundamentals or waste time guessing.

One thing I wish more women understood before starting UGC:
feeling overwhelmed is not a red flag... it’s part of the process.

Most creators assume overwhelm means:
“I’m behind.”
“I missed the wave.”
“I’m not cut out for this.”

In reality, overwhelm usually means you’re trying to learn everything at once without a clear framework.

UGC gets simpler when you focus on just a few core things:
• understanding how brands actually use content
• learning how to communicate clearly on camera
• building consistency before confidence

Confidence doesn’t come from waiting until you feel ready.
It comes from repetition, feedback, and seeing progress over time.

That’s why you don’t need to know everything to start... you need a clear starting point and a realistic plan.

This is exactly what I help with inside my 1:1 coaching calls.

Most people think working with brands means building a big following first.

It doesn’t.

UGC is not influencing.
It’s content creation.

Brands hire UGC creators to make videos they can use in ads, emails, landing pages, and social... whether or not you post it yourself.

That’s why follower count isn’t the deciding factor.

What actually matters:
• Can you communicate clearly on camera
• Can you frame a product around a real problem
• Can you create content that feels natural and usable

I’ve seen creators with under 100 followers get paid consistently because they understand this difference.

UGC is about being helpful, not visible.

If you’re new and feel stuck chasing views or growth, this is your reminder that there’s another path... one that’s quieter, more repeatable, and skill-based.

And yes, all you really need to start is a phone, a simple setup, and the right foundation.

If you want to learn how to land paid UGC brand deals without chasing virality, comment COACHING and I’ll send you the link to book a 1:1 call.

UGC is messy.
Retakes are normal.
Your background won’t always look cute.
None of that means you’re bad at this.

It means you’re actually in the process.
If you’re building this around real life… limited time, responsibilities, distractions… I see you.

Save this for the days you feel discouraged 🖤

I need y’all to stop overthinking everything… and I’m talking to myself too 😭 I kept telling myself my content needed to be aesthetic… quiet house, perfect walls, no toys, no signs of real life. But that’s not my reality… and letting that mindset stop me from posting has held me back long enough.

So here’s the promise I’m making to myself:
I’m posting my creator journey.
Messy, loud, imperfect… all of it.

And I want you to do the same.
Because the only way to get better, grow your personal brand, and actually show up as a creator… is to stop overthinking and just post.

Pick up the camera. Share what you love.
Stop overthinking.

POV: You turned your love for filming on your phone into a real income as a mom and now creating content for brands is your full-time job.

Here’s the part most people don’t talk about:
I didn’t need a huge following.
I didn’t need fancy equipment.
I didn’t go viral overnight.

What I did do was treat UGC like a skill, not a hobby.

I learned how brands actually use content (ads, not just aesthetics).
I focused on creating videos that feel natural, relatable, and useful.
I showed up consistently, even when it felt awkward or messy.

That’s when brands started paying me to create content for them... content they could run as ads, post on their socials, and use to sell their products.

UGC isn’t about being an influencer.
It’s about being able to communicate clearly on camera and help brands connect with real people.

If you’ve been thinking about starting UGC but felt overwhelmed, intimidated, or unsure where to begin... this is your sign.

And if you want guidance, clarity, and a realistic game plan, I offer 1:1 coaching. Details are in my bio 🖤

I’ve created 200+ UGC videos for brands, and the biggest shift I ever made wasn’t about filming better or being more creative.
It was understanding how brands actually think about content.

Most creators assume brands want brand-new ideas every time. In reality, brands want the same message tested across different buyer mindsets. That’s why they ask for multiple hooks, angles, and variations… they ask for this because they’re gathering data.

Once I stopped treating UGC like “content creation” and started treating it like communication, everything clicked. Scripts became easier. Ideas didn’t run out. Deliverables made sense.

UGC isn’t about being trendy or endlessly creative.

It’s about understanding who the video is for and what they need to hear right now.

That’s the framework behind every video I create and what I teach inside my 1:1 coaching.

If this helped things click for you, comment “UGC” and I’ll send you the link to book.

When your UGC business replaces your old 9–5… from your phone, in pajamas.

This didn’t happen overnight, and it definitely didn’t happen by accident.

I spent years creating without treating it like a real skill. I followed the “safe” path, working a safe job, and kept telling myself content was just something I did on the side. Even when the pull never really left.

When I came back to UGC, my life looked different. I was married, raising kids, and needed work that fit into real life, not the other way around.

UGC worked because I learned how brands actually use content and how to show up consistently without needing a massive following or pretending to be someone I’m not.

It’s not easy, but it is doable... when you take it seriously and learn the foundations.

If you’ve been curious about UGC but unsure how to make it sustainable, I offer 1:1 coaching calls. You can find details on that in my bio.
