This is a tumbler from
They were kind enough to send me 3 different tumblers with my logo engraved.
This is a drinking vessel that simulates barrel conditions. It’s made from white oak and is charred on the inside.
These are cool. They look good and they’re great because of their novelty.
Don’t buy something like this to try to replace the Glen or the Rocks glass in your rotation. They won’t do that. In fact, you won’t always like what they do to the whiskey to be honest.
If you get one, get it because it’s really an interesting tasting experience and experiment. With this Duck Club, the experience was SO different in the charred oak container than it was in the glass.
I have to say though…I prefer the glass. As interesting as this experience is, I just don’t think it beats a stemmed glen.
