Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is Randy Meisner (1946 – 2023) an American musician, singer, songwriter, and founding member of the Eagles. Throughout his professional musical career, Meisner's main role was that of bassist and backing high-harmony vocalist as a group member and session musician. He co-wrote and provided lead vocals on the Eagles hit song "Take It to the Limit".

Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is Clyde Chestnut "Champion" Barrow (1909 – 1934) an American bandit and serial murderer who traveled the Central United States with his partner in crime Bonnie Parker and their gang during the Great Depression. The couple was known for their bank robberies and multiple murders, although they preferred to rob small stores or rural funeral homes. Their exploits captured the attention of the American press and its readership during what is occasionally referred to as the "public enemy era" between 1931 and 1934. They were ambushed by police and shot to death in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. They are believed to have murdered at least nine police officers and four civilians.

Pineapple Sorbosa

Ingredients:
1 part Pineapple Mango Vodka
1 scoop Pineapple Sorbet
Top with Prosecco
Pineapple slice to garnish if desired

Preparation:
Chill all ingredients. In a champagne flute put one small scoop of sorbet. Add Vodka. Top with champagne. Add garnish if desired.

Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is Carl Weathers (1948 – 2024) an American actor, director and gridiron football linebacker. His acting roles included boxer Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films (1976–1985), Colonel Al Dillon in Predator (1987), Chubbs Peterson in Happy Gilmore (1996), and Combat Carl in the Toy Story franchise. He also had a recurring role as Greef Karga in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian (2019–2023), for which he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.

Butterscotch Mudslide

Ingredients
2 ounces Vodka
1.5 ounces Butterscotch Schnapps
2 ounces Kahlua
1.5 ounces Salted Caramel Irish Cream
Butterscotch Syrup

Instructions
Prep glasses by drizzling some caramel around the inside. Let glasses set for about 15 minutes in fridge or freezer before making drink. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour each liquor in. Shake vigorously. Pour over ice in prepared glasses.

Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is Nikola Tesla (1856 – 1943) a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist. He is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. Since his passing there has been a resurgence in popular interest in Tesla since the 1990s, including having an electric car brand named after him.

Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is David Soul (1943 – 2024) an American-British actor and singer. With a career spanning five decades, he rose to prominence for portraying Detective Kenneth "Hutch" Hutchinson in the American television series Starsky & Hutch from 1975 to 1979. Soul also had moderate success as a film actor when he portrayed Officer John Davis in Magnum Force in 1973.

Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is Doyle Brunson (1933 – 2023) a Texan poker player who played professionally for over 50 years. He was the first player to win $1 million in poker tournaments, he also was a two-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event champion, a Poker Hall of Fame inductee, and the author of several books on poker.

Pineapple Upside Down Cocktail

Ingredients:
1 egg white
1 ounce fresh lemon juice
1.5 ounces Cake Vodka
2 ounces Dark Rum
3 ounces Pineapple juice
Maraschino cherry for garnish
Pineapple slice for garnish

Preparation:
Put some ice in shaker then add egg white, vodka, rum and lemon juice. Shake vigorously about 15 to 20 seconds. Put a large ice cube in glass, pour pineapple juice over cube. Strain the contents of shaker into the glass. Add pineapple and cherry to each glass.

Today's Dead Guy in the Envelope is David Crosby (1941 – 2023) an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who first found fame as a member of the Byrds, with whom he helped pioneer the genres of folk rock and psychedelia in the mid-1960s, and later as part of the supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash, who helped popularize the California sound of the 1970s. In addition to his music, Crosby was known for his outspoken personality, politics, and personal troubles; he was sometimes depicted as emblematic of the counterculture of the 1960s.
