Rain or not, don’t miss this grand opening!

Today is the big day 🍾 Thank you to everyone who has supported us and visited during our soft opening period. We have been completely overwhelmed by your love and support, and hope to continue proving our worth to the community!

If you’re free around 2.30pm today, please stop by and celebrate with us. We’ll have a nice spread of food available, and drink specials. The weather isn’t looking great (typical), but we shall persevere!

What if you or someone you loved lost their memories?

From a life well-lived, dedicated to helping thousands, to facing the challenge of not remembering her own life — this is the powerful and heartbreaking reality of one extraordinary woman.

For the past 11 years, she has called the Lake Houston area her home, becoming a beloved part of our community. Her impact, however, extends far beyond our neighborhood. She is a true hero, not just locally but worldwide, and we want to acknowledge her lifetime of work and inspiring story.

💡 This is your invitation to join for a FREE event! Everything is FREE, but registration is required. 💡

📅 SATURDAY, JANUARY 11TH
🕙 10 AM - 12 PM: Health & Community Fair
🕚 11 AM - 12 PM: Youth Caregiver's Forum
🍴 Lunch
🎥 1 PM - 2 PM: My Mama Joe Film Matinee
💬 2 PM - 3 PM: Facilitated Q&A with Local Experts

🍿 Enjoy FREE popcorn and FREE lunch while experiencing this inspiring world premiere.

If you have a teenager or young adult in the home, we ESPECIALLY encourage you to invite them to the Youth Caregiver's Forum at 11 AM.

This forum is a safe space designed to address the unique challenges faced by youth who help care for loved ones and the trauma of experiencing a loved one’s death. It’s led by a mental health professional from Baylor and a life coach who is a former counselor at Atascocita High School.

🌟 Volunteer credit is available for students who attend.

Did you know:
🧠 2/3 of people living with dementia are women.
🧠 African Americans are twice as likely to develop dementia compared to white populations.
🧠 Hispanic individuals have a 1.5x higher risk than white individuals.

This event is more than a movie—it’s an opportunity to educate, inspire, and support our community.

Her story is one of resilience and hope. Through unimaginable challenges, she has dedicated her life to helping others and has been recognized from the Mayor’s office to the White House, receiving the Points of Light Award from President George W. Bush.
