Make sure your bread is completely cooled before you put it in the bread bin or a sealed bread bag. If you store bread while it is still warm, condensation will form, preventing the crust from being crispy.
So always allow bread to cool completely!
Then store it in a (reusable) bread bag. You can also store the bread in a tea towel or a cotton bread bag. There are also bread bags with ventilation openings.
