There is nothing like the presence of God at One Church at Bethel’s Family. 🙌🏾

A time was truly had as we marched into this new month on this First Sunday. The Spirit of the Lord met us in a powerful way. If you didn’t feel led to raise a hand, shed a tear, or run in the Spirit… we couldn’t have been in the same room.

God reminded us that He is still moving, still restoring, and still faithful to His promises.

I’m walking into this month renewed, covered, and full of expectation.

Bethel’s Family, I love growing in God with you.

Today I released two episodes for my podcast, “The Absence of Her”. The second, “Avoiding God”, was one of the hardest conversations I’ve ever had , admitting that I’ve been angry with God, these past few months and avoiding the truth of my grief. Grief has a way of exposing what we bury, and stillness will force you to face what busyness lets you hide. I’m learning that you can avoid your feelings, but you cannot avoid God. He remains present, even in anger. This episode is raw, honest, and part of my ongoing healing. If you’ve ever loved God and still felt hurt, this conversation is for you. 💜🦋

Life is unpredictable, no matter how much planning you do.
I am divorced, childless, single & my parents deceased, but in good spirits this holiday season.
Today I am grateful for REST.
I am grateful I do not have to cook for anyone.
I am grateful I did not have to shop for gifts.
I am grateful I have the option to choose peace & a solo trip outside of my home state.
I am grateful for the books I will read on this break from work.
I am grateful for all of the lessons and blessings this year.
