Shenandoah Cops - Protect & Serve has changed to Harass & Abandon
Good citizens—after witnessing increasing abuse by those we pay to protect us—are fed up. Our public servants have allowed ego to override duty, acting as if they hold complete authority over the very people who empowered them. They’ve lost sight of their role as civil servants and instead act as rulers.
This all stems from a dangerously inflated and deeply rooted false sense of authority. We, the people, entrusted them with the responsibility to protect and serve—but what we’ve received in return is intimidation, overreach, and, in some cases, outright abuse.
Thanks to body cams and smartphones, we now see what was hidden before—officers mistreating our elderly, children, and anyone who dares exercise their rights.
Sorry for the tangent... but here's why I'm really speaking out:
Did any of you—especially those who liked, shared, or commented on this video—call to complain about the injustice I suffered at the hands of the Shenandoah Police Department?
I’m referring in particular to Sergeant Mark Brockhoeft (a.k.a. “Sergeant Sherlock”)—easily the most dishonest cop I’ve ever encountered. He holds rank and should be leading by example, but instead, he fabricated a false narrative to other officers on the scene, acting as if his imagination were evidence.
As someone with deep family and personal ties to law enforcement—my brother’s a sheriff, my nephew a deputy, two cousins are FBI agents, and I used to regularly hang out with CIA officers—I understand that police are trained to deceive during interrogations. But that tactic is supposed to be used to elicit confessions from criminals, not to deceive fellow officers, DAs, or judges into pursuing innocent people.
Yet that’s exactly what Sergeant Brockhoeft did.
He:
Lied to other officers, misleading them into a baseless pursuit.
Lied to the DA’s office to push for charges against me—though I had done nothing wrong.
Tried to support these lies by spinning additional falsehoods as “evidence.”
He spent two hours chasing suspects to a crime he knew never happened, ignoring a real burglary elsewhere because he was too focused on trying to pin something—anything—on me. He knew there was no crime, yet tried so hard to “bust” me anyway. It was malicious, targeted, and unjust.
As if that wasn’t enough, Officer Eric Bauer then transported me to jail and denied me water, after promising I’d get some at the station. Later, he outright admitted that he had no reason to detain me for two hours—effectively admitting to kidnapping me under false pretenses.
To make matters worse, he and Assistant DA Dudley appeared to scramble for any possible reason to jail me. When they couldn't find a warrant and realized the head of Conroe’s jail wasn’t playing along with their plan to book me for “Failure to ID,” the jail refused to take me. I suspect it’s because they recognized I knew my rights—and had already said I was planning to sue.
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
I AM NOT ENCOURAGING HARASSMENT OR THREATS OF ANY KIND.
But if you believe my rights were grossly violated—and you don't want to see these same officers abuse others—you have the right to file a formal grievance or contact city leadership. These are public servants, and we all deserve accountability.
If you choose to voice your concern, please consider reaching out to:
Mayor of Shenandoah
John Escoto
📞 Direct Line: (832) 585-8154
📧 Email: [email protected]
Your voice matters. If you believe these officers acted unethically—or criminally—say so. Tell the Mayor what you saw. Let him know that citizens are watching, and we won’t tolerate corruption and misconduct from those who swore to uphold justice.
