What does forgiveness really mean?

1. Letting go
Forgiveness isn’t forgetting. It’s choosing to release the hurt to God.
Verse: Ephesians 4:32

2. For yourself too
God forgives you. You can forgive yourself too.
Verse: 1 John 1:9

3. It frees YOU
Holding onto bitterness hurts you more than them.
Verse: Matthew 6:14-15
