Why Fulani Imposters Seized The Nigerian Traditional Institution………..

Most traditional rulers in Nigeria are very corrupt, cowardly and undeserving of their privileges because they have abandoned their customs and traditions for politics and the inordinate primitive accumulation of wealth and so, are custodians of nothing .
They are the reason Saad Abubakar and other clowns like him who have no Kingdoms and customs and traditions beyond their political religions have seized Nigeria with the help of corrupt politicians and religious hypocrites who have absolutely no respect for or cannot make a distinction between customs and traditions, and their foreign religions that have absolutely nothing in common with the origins, and the cultural heritages that define any people with whom they interact in any multiethnic country with diverse cultures like Nigeria.

When a traditional ruler abandons his traditions and customs for any reason such as converting to another religion that is conflict with his customs and tradition, he becomes unsuitable to be considered as a traditional ruler because he cannot anymore be a true custodian of his people’s customs and traditions and their cultural heritage.

Sadly, this is what has been taking place across Africa, especially in Nigeria where the traditional institution is an expansive scandalous ridicule driven by mostly corrupt people people who have no idea what their customs and traditions are and how the bad choices driven by economics that they make impact the psyche, the overall wellbeing and the spirituality of their people.

The dismantling of our once upon a time exceptionally good traditional and customary defense system is partially responsible for troubling insecurity in Nigeria today, and it is going to get worse unless we stop patronizing fake Ghana-must-go traditional rulers who can’t be true custodians of the customs and traditions that have worked for us before except those derived out of fairy tales like the illegal banning of the sale of Ogbonor in markets in Asaba, a state capital with over 500,000 Nigerians from various ethnic backgrounds and the people are expected to live by the obnoxious rule and with the most important issue of insecurity that negatively impacts everybody unattended.

Quite frankly, why do we still need traditional rulers in Nigeria especially when they can’t stand up for their own people beyond wearing royal gowns and beads, extorting traders and market women through collecting illegal tolls in markets in their various communities, being paid illegal royalties for every land sold and mineral resources discovered in their various communities instead of the proceeds going directly into the developmental accounts of those communities, and conniving with politicians to sabotage our country?
