We appreciate our guest Stanislaus Akisah of Stanlion Clothing for the honesty and clarity he brought to Season 2, Episode 2.

As a prolific designer known for his elevated, refined style, he could easily lean into the idea that luxury equals status. Instead, he reminded us that the price of your fabric does not determine the quality of your character.

He also spoke about something many people struggle with, the guilt that can come with enjoying the rewards of your own hard work. His message was simple: you can celebrate your success without apologizing for it.

We’re grateful for his wisdom and presence on this episode.

We truly appreciate Lizzy Afa for the depth she brought to this conversation in Season 2, Episode 2.

She highlighted something many people quietly deal with. The hesitation to enjoy or even wear the things you’ve worked hard for because of how family might interpret it. Sometimes success feels easier to achieve than it is to display.

Her perspective added honesty and balance to the discussion, and we’re grateful for her voice at the table.

This is a conversation many think about but rarely say out loud. Do designer clothes really change your value or status in society, or are we giving labels more power than they deserve?

This episode features Adambi Mbango as host, Samson Tarh and Vivian Seikeh as co-hosts, Lizzy Afa as co-chair and The Lion as GUEST

An autism diagnosis does not erase hope or joy.
It simply asks for patience, understanding, and grace.
To the parents doing the hard work quietly every day, you are seen, you are valued, and you are doing enough.

In many African homes, autism is misunderstood, silenced, or spiritualized.

In Season 2, Episode 1, we open an honest conversation about the realities families face when raising a child with autism.
