The Bible teaches us that our Heavenly Father will never leave us nor forsake us. I’m confident that this is true. During some of the darkest times of my life His Spirit comforted me.

Although I could never understand as a kid or an adult how people rest not knowing if their own children are safe and loved.

Whenever that thought rises I choose to not lean on my own understanding but in all my ways acknowledge God and He has ordered my steps.

I meditate on the things that are lovely.
