New York Open Air Shakespeare

New York Open Air Shakespeare Open Air Shakespeare is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a New York State registered charity.

We produce stage and film productions, and offer performing arts classes for children and adults in Portugal at the Botanical Garden of Lisbon and in Hudson, NY. New York Open Air Shakespeare produces plays by Willam Shakespeare, with diverse and inclusive cast members. We are based in Hudson, NY and like our sister company Open Air Shakespeare that is based in Lisbon, Portugal we also provide acting classes for children and adults.

Here’s the whole THE HUDSON EYE festival schedule with links to reserve tickets but you don’t need tickets or need to reserve for our performance of THE TEMPEST - it’s FREE.

They are also having the end of the festival celebration Barbecue down at the Hudson Waterfront Park that day. They ask people to reserve for the Barbecue and it is a FREE meal for the community (but the ticketing portal does have a $1 service charge fee - so it’s kinda a free meal)
