Sent to me from . My parents first trip to their beach house since my dad's fight with covid. The joy is different now for all of us, and we are so thankful for God's mercy towards our family. Every time I see my dad now I am reminded of the power of prayer and how little control we have of our lives. My heart is so full seeing this photo, I had to share.

I also think of those hurting from loss and have a new understanding of empathy, and my heart and prayers go to anyone experiencing it. Christ is the answer, He is the one who gives you peace beyond understanding. I pray those hurting find His peace, and if you need someone to talk to, I'll be obliged to listen and share how His works in my life have given me joy and peace even in dark times. ⛪✝️🩸👑

66 days...It has been 66 days since our Bumpa has been home. His fight against COVID was tough, and even looked hopeless for a few of those days, but here we are. I remember when things were at their worst, and he called and I asked him straight up what he was thinking was going to happen, and with a calm steady voice he said "I'm coming home". We firmly stand in God's grace and mercy. We absolutely believe this was done through the power of prayer. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses and therapists that made this day possible. Thank you to all those who prayed, without it today may not have happened. We are very aware that not everyone has this story of victory over covid... My heart goes out to those families. I hope that you find comfort in this victory story, as I have found comfort in many of the ones I've seen throughout these last 66 days.

It's gonna be hard going back to work tomorrow... Being home this first month has been so special. Thankful for the time off, thankful for my family, thankful for my girls.

What an adventure! I am in awe of so much today. I am in awe of God's mercy, His miracle, His wisdom, His grace. I am in awe of the amazing staff here at Novant. I am in awe of Him choosing me to be a again. I am in awe of my AMAZING wife, who absolutely rocked it even through some unexpected speed bumps. I am in awe that I get to be Blythe and Ellis's dad. Can't wait for them to meet. Thank you to all who pour into us and love on us, your prayers and love have been felt.

LNC Middles School is looking for a girls basketball assistant coach. This includes a stipend, practices Monday - Thursday 5:00-7:00, games are mostly Tuesdays and Thursdays through January. Tryouts begin next Wednesday. DM me if interested!

Blessed to have and have had so many father figures in my life, especially my own father and the one who gave away and trusted me with his little girl. Y'all we're incredible examples of Godly men who led their houses. I hope I can be half to Dad the two of you were! ❤️❤️
