🚨 My GPA was too low for PA school… or so they said. 🚨

When I applied to PA school, my stats were considered “unacceptable”:
📊 Overall GPA: 3.2
🔬 Science GPA: 3.19
⏱ Patient Care Hours: 17,000+

And still… I got accepted. I graduated. I passed the PANCE with a great score.

Your GPA is just one piece of your application. Experience, resilience, and how you tell your story matter just as much, and sometimes more.

If you’ve got the heart for this profession, there’s a way forward. Keep pushing. You’ve got this. 🩺

Little eyes are always watching. 🏋️‍♂️💙

As an ENT PA, I spend my days helping patients breathe easier, hear better, and live healthier. But at home, my most important job is showing my boys what that looks like in real life.

It’s not just about telling our kids to make healthy choices—it’s about showing them. Whether it’s moving our bodies, eating nourishing foods, or making time for self-care, our actions are the blueprint they’ll follow.

Health starts at home, and it’s a lifelong lesson I want my boys to grow up living. 💪

I almost went to PT school… until a PA changed everything.
Back when I worked in ortho, I thought I had my path figured out. But one conversation with a physician assistant changed my direction — and I never looked back.
Now I’m in one of the most underrated surgical specialties out there: ENT.
We’re in clinic, in the OR, managing complex head & neck cases, and still doing hands-on procedures every day.
It’s fast-paced, it’s precise, and yes — it’s a unicorn specialty for PAs.
If you’re looking for continuity, variety, and procedural skills without being on call 24/7, ENT might just be it.

I’m a PA, and my days aren’t just earwax and sore throats. In ENT and oncology, I help manage everything from post-op thyroid cancer patients to new neck mass evaluations.
I perform flexible laryngoscopies, assist in minor procedures, manage trach and PEG tube care, and coordinate care with speech therapy, oncology, and radiation.
I’m not just handing out antibiotics. I’m following patients through some of the most intense diagnoses of their lives.

They warned me. I didn’t listen. 🦎👋

Being a PA in healthcare is basically controlled chaos with a otoscope. You’re diagnosing, treating, explaining why Dr. Google isn’t always right all before lunch. One moment you’re a medical professional, the next you’re a therapist, tech support, and detective rolled into one. Add in paients who say “while I’m here…” and coworkers asking if you can “just take a quick look,” and you’ve got the full healthcare buffet. It’s exhausting, unpredictable, and absolutely worth it, most days. And yes, your coffee gets cold 100% of the time.
