Public service announcement: I commonly get compliments on my food photography and that makes me feel really nice because I want the local food to look as good as it tastes.

But I want to make it clear that--unless I forget and take a couple bites-- I generally shoot my food EXACTLY as it is served to me. I don't tell the restaurants that the food is for DowntownHuntington.net and I don't doctor the food after it is served.

If my posts happen to look like food from a magazine, it's the real deal. You are sure to get the exact same thing on your visit.
