We’re sad to let you know of the passing of Marsha Phillips, the wife of Dan Phillips and brilliant other half of the Phoenix Commotion. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held this Sunday, Dec 8th, at Saint Stephens Episcopal Church in Huntsville, TX.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Dan Phillips will be held on Sunday, January 30, at 2:00 pm in The Raven Lodge at Huntsville State Park.

The Sam Houston State University College of Arts & Media has named Dan Phillips as the recipient of the 2021 Legacy Award in celebration of his career accomplishments and commitment to a life of service in support of SHSU.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Dan Phillips on Tuesday, December 21 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dan lived a wildly fabulous life that touched countless friends across the world. He will be deeply missed.
