UPDATE: The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says authorities are searching for a person who it says shot at a police officer Wednesday afternoon.

I’m first on the scene of a large police presence in Powell, where the DeKalb County EMA is warning people to avoid. WHNT News 19 is working to provide updates as we get them.
