Ordering will close Sunday afternoon at 5pm for a pick-up at my home on September 17th. As always, there is an option for you to select a pick up time between 9:30am-5pm. You still have the option to pay online, or pay in person at pick up. Address confirmation will be sent after the order has been placed. No loaf goes to waste here! I had a few loaves that were not up to standard for going out the door yesterday so they stayed behind. I don’t know what weird snacks everyone else’s kids enjoy, but my boys LOVE croutons! 🤣 I have never seen kids take them by the handful and eat them as a side for a meal like these boys! 🤣

Here’s a quick recipe for your next ugly loaf.

•Slice them up to your desired size.
•Lay them in a single layer in your air fryer. Spray with olive oil and season with sea salt and italian seasoning. I measure with my heart!
•Set the temp to 425 degrees for 8 minutes. Shake them and put them back in for another 4 minutes. I add a little more salt here too.
•Let cool for a few hours and place in an air tight container.

I am selling Dehydrated Sourdough Packets for those that are interested in giving sourdough a try! Those are $6.

The sound of jars pinging is like music to my ears! Dilly beans are definitely a favorite food of mine and I am excited to crack into one of these jars come winter time. Just another gentle reminder of God’s goodness that we get to experience just from planting a seed in the spring. #

Ok, I know I said fair season was my favorite season, but canning season is a close second! There’s just something so sweet about passing down skills and traditions to my own kiddos. It’s so rewarding to see the seeds that you planted, grow into a plant and produce mature fruit. Then to be able to harvest that and preserve it to enjoy in the cold winter months is so rewarding! The joy in their eyes when they picked each little tomato made my heart smile! I love teaching the boys that hard work can be fun and tasty! There will be plenty of opportunities in life when hard work isn’t sweet and fun, so these moments make it all worth it! Praying that God continues to water and nurture the seeds He has planted in our hearts so that we can be more like Him! 🍅🍅

Who doesn’t enjoy a good love story, especially when it involves the Minnesota State Fair and Minnesota 4H! I might be a little biased, but one of these stories is my favorite! 🥰🥰

Over 40,000 young Minnesotans are members of the youth development program 4-H. Besides embracing lifelong learning, these six couples also found their lifelong partners.
