Speed and stop sign cameras are a familiar sight for those who drive on the daily. These cameras are placed in residential areas to ensure drivers are stopping or adhering to the posted speed limits.

But the cameras are controversial, raising privacy concerns as well as the potential for misuse.

The Hyattsville Life and Times wanted to hear some local opinions, so we sent a reporter out into the community to interview some of our neighbors.
