*update* Jay S Reichert has triumphed over cancer, with his pathology reports confirming no remaining cancer cells. He's considered a survivor of colorectal adenocarcinoma, and although he's at high risk and faces a lengthy healing process, the success of his radiation and chemotherapy treatments is a testament to his strength. Regular check-ups every 3-4 months will ensure he remains cancer-free. Meanwhile, his neuropathy persists, but his resilience inspires us all. We're beaming with pride for Jay S Reichert's victory over cancer. As we prepare for my upcoming surgery, we're heartened to see the antifungal medication taking effect, with noticeable improvements in my lung health. With surgery on the horizon, we're optimistic that my cancer will be fully eliminated. We're grateful for these blessings and the promise of better days ahead. πŸ™Œ
Thank you so much to everyone. Your prayers, encouragement, and support have been heartfelt.

Fantastic news all around! Jay S Reichert has just received a clean bill of health, with the doctor confirming no signs of cancer or tumors. We're eagerly awaiting biopsy results to seal the deal! A huge praise to God for this blessing. On a personal note, I had a bit of a setback last Friday when I lost my balance in the bathroom and fell, damaging some ribs. However, I'm healing quickly and feeling much better today. My lungs are also on the mend, and I'm seeing significant improvement in my symptoms. The best part? My scheduled Whipple procedure on October 15th is expected to resolve my pancreatic cancer, eliminating the need for oncology visits. This is truly a wonderful blessing, and I'm grateful for the positive outlook. While the recovery process will take around 4-6 weeks, I'm confident I can handle it. Praise God for all this good news! πŸ™Œ πŸ™

Here's a promising update on our journey. Jay is making tremendous progress, despite some lingering symptoms from radiation and chemotherapy. We're cautiously optimistic that his neuropathy will improve, but we're grateful that his cancer is in remission. His upcoming procedure on September 15th will confirm this wonderful news. Meanwhile, I've received my biopsy results, which confirmed pancreatic cancer. However, I'm staying positive and focused on the path ahead, with appointments scheduled with an oncology specialist and surgeon. I'm managing my pain effectively, and I'm determined to overcome this challenge. We're deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, kindness, and support that has uplifted us throughout this journey. We remain steadfast, positive, and empowered, trusting that God is guiding us every step of the way. πŸ™ πŸ™Œ ❀️ We're feeling God's goodness and the power of prayer and encouragement. πŸ™ ❀️ ✨️

I would like to provide an update on Jay's recovery from his previous treatments. His incision site from the port removal is tender, but healing as expected. Notably, his appetite has improved significantly and his symptoms have diminished.

On a separate note, I, Sandra Reichert, have been experiencing serious health setbacks. Following a consultation with Dr. Tariq, I underwent a chest CT scan, which revealed abnormal growths on both lungs. Subsequent to this finding, a PET scan was conducted, indicating abnormal growth activity in both lungs and my pancreas. Last Friday, August 15th, I underwent a robotic endoscopic biopsy procedure in Indianapolis, targeting my liver and pancreas. The results confirmed that the lesions on my pancreas are cancerous. I am scheduled to meet with an oncology specialist on Monday, August 25th, in Indianapolis. Additionally, I will undergo another robotic procedure this Thursday, August 21st, to retrieve biopsies from the abnormal growths in both lungs. We kindly welcome prayers and remain optimistic.

I would like to extend my gratitude to our followers and supporters. Their encouragement and God's love have been instrumental in making our journey more manageable. ❀️

With Jay S Reichert's therapy now complete, he's taking the next steps towards recovery and preparing for upcoming procedures that will pave the way for his continued progress. On the horizon, Jay S Reichert has a colorectal ultrasound scheduled for September, followed by an appointment with Dr. Robb, a colorectal surgeon, in October to map out the best course of action for surgery.

Thank you to all of our family, friends, and church family for your continued support ❣️.

With love and appreciation,
