Update on RHR competition in the KCE Racing League.

We have been removed from the series. Reasoning is understandable, yet I have my side.

The previous race at Talladega, we scored a top 10 with 0X (incident points) meaning we never made contact with a single car and had as clean of a race you can have at Talladega. We still received an EOL and Drive Through penalty to start the race at Texas last night. I served both the EOL and drive through penalties and when exiting the pits I got another penalty for passing under yellow. Mind you, this was all under green flag. When I brought it up I was told they would not comment or look at it in race. I didn’t serve the second penalty and iRacing DQ’d my car. So I parked my car on the back stretch by the inside wall to exit the race, and unfortunately it brought out a yellow and that’s why I was removed.

I am very disappointed in how I was treated, no one has tried to have a conversation, I received an automated message I could not respond to and all admins have blocked my messages. Unacceptable.

Haven’t posted much lately, but last post was results from Bristol. We raced at Rockingham and Talladega since then.

Rockingham finished 22nd after wrecking with 10 to go.

Talladega finished 10th after a pit road speeding penalty.

Got a little rusty last couple weeks and just making too many mistakes. Ready to bounce back this week at Texas! Currently sitting 20th in points, after missing the first 5 races.

Short end of the stick last night in the KCE Racing Xfinity Series. Got pinched by the 23 I guess, i held my car on the bottom and still didnt have enough room. It turned me head on into the inside wall and killed the motor.

Onto Rockingham next week for the first time ever in my “sim-career.”

Started 25th and made it up to P5, took tires under a yellow and short pitted everyone on strategy hoping to find some track position later in the run. It was a risk and it didn’t pay off. Disappointed with a fast car.

Race Recap - KCE Racing Xfinity Series Race 8 from the virtual Darlington Raceway on iRacing

Started P25, moving up pretty quick, getting to P18 before the first yellow. We had a really long green flag run that led to green flag pitstops and unfortunately, I just made a mistake that I could not fully recover from. I missed the cone entering the pits, which resulted in a "unsafe pit entry" penalty. They held us for 40 seconds and I lost 2 laps. I was able to get one lap back and just short of luck. We used up all of our luck last week. We'll bounce back this week at Bristol on Thursday night.

On a high note, our first 3 starts is KCE have all been top 10's
1 win and 3 top 10's

We got the win last night in the KCE Racing Xfinity Series at Martinsville. Can’t thank Josh McKinney enough for driving me as clean as he did. Big thanks to Nick Goble for making all the right calls. This has been a long time coming. It’s been a couple years since we competed in a series, everything kind of went our way but it feels good to find Victory Lane in my 2nd KCE start.

Check out the last couple laps, and please excuse the language. It’s exciting to win a league race, we had over 250 laps in preparing for this race and it’s cool when everything goes your way and it pays off!
