UIndy Associate Professor of English Liz Whiteacre read her persona poems at the “Garden Songs” event on March 17. The event was a collaboration with Meadow Bridgham, a pianist and adjunct professor of music. Whiteacre described persona poems as written from the perspective of a person, animal or object other than the poet themself.
