Sometimes peace looks like sitting in your car for 20 minutes before walking in the house. Jocelyn and Jade keep it real about needing space from your family without feeling guilty.

They joke about “traffic therapy” but the message is real—boundaries don’t mean you love your people less. It means you know your limits. For moms, partners, and anyone who gives more than they get, this one’s a reminder to stop apologizing for needing quiet.

If you grew up in a house where “the teacher said it” automatically meant “you’re guilty,” this one will hit home. Jocelyn tells a story about the time a teacher lied on her and her mom didn’t even hesitate—instant whooping.

Antonio and Jade couldn’t stop laughing, but it led to a bigger point: a lot of us were raised in homes that valued obedience over communication. It was “respect your elders,” even if the elder was wrong.

This short is funny, nostalgic, and honest—the kind of story that makes you laugh and reflect at the same time.

You ever try to cover up something you broke as a kid, hoping your mom wouldn’t notice? Jocelyn did that — with red nail polish on her mom’s carpet. What started as a good morning turned into one of the funniest “I knew I messed up” moments of her childhood.

It’s nostalgic, hilarious, and painfully relatable for anyone raised in a “you better fix it before I find it” household. Jade and Jocelyn turn it into a conversation about discipline, fear, and how growing up with strict parents taught us more than we realized.

We’ve all seen a bad fight, but have you ever seen one where somebody literally got beat out their clothes? Jocelyn and Jade could barely breathe laughing through this story, but once the laughter fades, the real talk starts. How do you recover from something that embarrassing? How do you get your pride back after the whole block saw it happen?

This one’s hilarious and painfully relatable at the same time. We’ve all had a “beat me out my clothes” moment in life—it just doesn’t always involve fists. Sometimes it’s work, heartbreak, or friendships that humble you that fast.

Let's stop with the bashing of people with masculine energy. Having masculine energy is okay, having feminine energy is okay. Having either of these does not inherently make you manipulative. Let's talk about it.

Let’s be real… if your “friend” stands there watching while you get your a** whooped, that friendship’s done.
In this clip from A Girls Perspective, Jocelyn tells a fight story that turns into a full-blown friendship test. Jade’s crying laughing, but we all know she’s right — loyalty means you help, or you help me after.
This one hit deep for the Vibe Tribe because it’s about recognizing who’s really in your corner when it counts.

“I’m not just raising my sons to be good boys — I’m raising them to be good men.”

In this emotional and insightful moment from A Girls Perspective (AGP), Jocelyn talks about deliberately teaching her sons to lead with kindness and empathy. She doesn’t just compliment their looks or achievements — she praises their hearts, reminding them that compassion is just as important as strength.

It’s one of those parenting wins that shows how much impact small affirmations can have. The goal isn’t just to raise successful kids, but to raise better humans.

We’ve all had that moment in the makeup chair where you’re praying you don’t walk out looking like somebody else.

In this clip from A Girls Perspective (AGP), Jocelyn admits she was scared to let her MUA go full glam because she didn’t want to look “unrecognizable.” But the convo turns real — because women are judged no matter what they do. Too natural? You’re “not trying.” Too glam? You’re “fake.”

It’s one of those hilarious, unfiltered moments that turn into something deeper — a reminder that beauty standards hit hard, and it’s okay to just want to look like you.

Why do so many people settle for relationships that don’t make them happy? Jocelyn and Jade don’t hold back in this clip from A Girls Perspective (AGP).

They argue that mutual expectations matter more than any checklist or superficial preference. If two people are equally clear about what they want, things work. But when you ask for qualities you can’t give back — or when you’re too scared to ask for what you really want — it’s already doomed.

It’s messy, funny, and way too real. Settling is easy. But building the kind of relationship that actually works? That takes honesty, chemistry, and knowing yourself first.

Let's normalize being okay with someone not finding us attractive or not liking us. There are way more people in the world that worry about being liked but won't admit it and Jocelyn was no different. After being burned enough times, she realized that was the right thing and spent time becoming okay with the fact that to the wrong people, she's just not for them. And you know what? That is okay.

Sometimes the common denominator in your relationship struggles… is you.

Jocelyn, Jade, and Brittany don’t sugarcoat it in this clip from A Girls Perspective (AGP). If every friendship or relationship falls apart in the same way, it’s worth asking why. The truth is, your early 20s should be less about finding a partner and more about finding yourself.

This is one of those AGP hot takes that hits hard but feels freeing. When you start doing the inner work, you stop dragging the same patterns into every connection.

Everyone has something about themselves that they are a little self-conscious about. Height, weight, am I pretty enough, the list goes on and on. And the ladies of AGP are no different. We are all works in progress. We've put in the work to improve our image of ourselves but that doesn't mean that the negative thoughts don't creep in sometimes. The key is to recognize it so that you can do something about it.
