We’re incredibly lucky to have a family support system that many others can only wish for.

Raising a child is truly a community effort. Doing so with two neurodivergent kids as neurodivergent parents comes with its own set of daily hurdles—honestly, it can be a real challenge. I'll be honest with you.

This spring break, the boys are spending time with my parents in Illinois—a much-needed break for all of us. It’s a reminder of how grateful I am, especially when I see pictures of them having so much fun.

I miss them like crazy, but sometimes, everyone just needs a little time apart—and that's perfectly okay.
