We met Brad Alexander, owner of this 1967 Ford Mustang that is the subject of his son’s memory and a song inspired and written/performend by local musician Roger Hoffman We will play that…including Jefferson Starship Journey, Bob Dylan, Ian Noe, Brewer and Shipley, and lots more. Also included Russ’ College Classics and John’s 90’s Nuggets.

Connie Francis has died. Tonight we play her most recognizable songs from our library.

Connie was a huge star of the 1950's when pop music morphed from big band to rock and country.. Today she is completely ignored by other radio stations. Never have I heard a song of hers on any station playing Oldies. But she is in WITT's regular rotation.

Our tribute to Connie will continue tomorrow (Friday).

July 14th through July 27th from 9-11am and 3-5pm, you’ll hear special programming from our various WITT personalities and volunteers as we ask for your support. The Campus Radio Reunion returns to WITT this weekend from 5pm Friday to 12noon Sunday. We are reliving College Radio days with broadcasters from Indiana University, Indiana State, Vincennes, Ball State, and Notre Dame. There is even a special Request Oldies show with Don, Neil, Steve,
Jerry & others. Special request line Saturday 9p-12 mid.

After months of consternation, trials, and errors, we think we have eliminated the audio drops on the stream. Complete re-routing of how we do streaming, but so far the results seem clean. Completely avoids our stream provider at the transmitter, and that seems to be the magic key.
