🏁 2026 SCHEDULE UPDATE 🏁
Added RaceWorz to the summer agenda πŸ™‚β€β†•οΈ I’ve never been to Sonoma Raceway before so I’m really looking forward to it. I’m also hoping to add more local events throughout the year as dates are announced.

TX2K26 Day 6 - Eliminations 🏁
I qualified in the 14th spot in DCT Elite and faced the #3 qualifier in round 1. There was an oil down on the track when I was staged under the tower that caused a 30+ minute delay, and I made the mistake of not checking temps while waiting. When I finally made it to the starting line, my engine oil temp was too low and the car hit safeties on launch. It was a careless oversight and a hard lesson learned, but I know I’ll never make that mistake again. I’m still learning all the quirks of the new build, and the car is capable of so much more so I’m looking forward to seeing what it can do at future events.

I’m happy to walk away with a new PB and the car in one piece. It was a great event overall and I had so much fun catching up with and cheering on all of my friends. Thank you to all of my sponsors and my crew .r35 for everything πŸ–€ until next year!

TX2K26 - Day 4 Q3 🏁
I didn’t want to run quicker than my previous 7.75, so I went out to do an 1/8th mile hit to collect data. The launch hit HARD and I cut a 1.2 60ft without a hitch. The car got a little out of hand in 2nd gear but nothing I couldn’t handle. I let off at the 1/8th and rolled into an 8.7 @ 115mph.

I skipped Q4 and Q5 on day 5 with the intention of running another 1/8th mile hit for Q6, but unfortunately Q6 was cancelled at the last minute. I ended up qualifying in the 14th spot in DCT Elite. There are some REALLY fast cars in this class but I’m ready for it.

TX2K26 Day 3 - Q2 🏁 NEW PB
After spending the last two days working out all the little new build bugs, I finally got a good clean pass today and ran a new PB of 7.75 @ 189 mph. This was with a soft launch and 1.3 60ft, and the car felt solid all the way down. With that mph, I think we can easily see mid-7s after dialing in the short track. We still have 3-4 qualifiers ahead, so I’m going to see how the field plays out before running again.

I’m still blown away at how capable these 5885s are and I’m excited to see what they can do at full tilt.

TX2K26 Day 2 - Q1 🏁
I went out for Q1 feeling confident after yesterday’s test session and clicked off an easy 8.001 @ 186 mph. We were expecting a lower ET with that mph and my 60ft was 1.4, so and took a closer look at my run. They pointed out that there was a serious problem with my left rear suspension, which turned out to be a loose control arm bolt. Thankfully it only caused my car to veer left a bit and we found it before something worse happened.

Hopefully we’ve tackled all the little gremlins and we can run a smoother Q2.

I never dreamed that I’d one day own and pilot a 2000 whp car, but here we are. Putting together such a high caliber build is no easy task, and Chris at did it in two months. Here’s what we upgraded:

Stage 5 4.3L motor
dry sump it
5885 Next Gen Sportsman turbos
Custom fabricated manifolds + 4” intakes and downpipes
HD clamps everywhere
1700 primary + 2600 secondary injectors
Brushless fuel pumps + ID BPC100 controller
AMS 15” rear beadlocks + small rear brake kit
ET Drag
lithium battery
Bumper cutouts (still crying over this)
Reinstalled stock springs
All powder coating done by
Tuned by

ONE GUY did all of that in TWO MONTHS while also prepping two other cars for . I cannot express how grateful I am for his tireless work. And thank you to our friends and sponsors that provided support along the way.

I’m so excited to see what it does this week. I’m hoping to see consistent mid-7s, but really my only goal this year is to bring home some hardware πŸ†

If you’re coming out to the event, make sure to come by and check out the car at the AMS camp 🏁

03/11/2026

To every person that takes time out of their day to stop by and chat or check out the car, I appreciate you more than you know. All the love, support, and encouragement is what keeps me going and all I hope is that I can inspire someone in return (or at the very least put on a good show πŸ’¨)

2026 is less than a week away. I’ll be at the camp again so be sure to stop by and say hi!

Got a stack of fresh for the 2026 season 😌 3 sets of rear wheels means 3 sets of tires, each for different types of racing/driving:
15” ET Drag - for max traction on prepped surfaces
17” ET Street R Bias - for no prep events and drag racing classes that don’t allow 15” rears
18” ET Street SS - for street driving and 1/2 mile events

This will be my first season running a 15” rear setup and I’m excited to see how it’ll improve my 60 ft. On 17s, I got consistent 1.3s and a handful of 1.2s, but I’m hoping to see consistent 1.1-1.2s now 🀞🏽
