We took the girls to the Shakira concert last night and it was pure magic. I’ve been a Shakira fan for as long as I can remember, and thanks to Zootopia, the girls are huge fans too.

It was their first big concert and watching their faces light up with every song was my favorite part of the night. Some of my favorite memories growing up were made at concerts, and getting to share that experience with my own kids felt really special.

The only downside? The concert was supposed to start at 7:30, but Shakira didn’t come on until 9:30. By 11, Ayah fell asleep on my arm, so we had to leave before the show ended.

It was a night we’ll never forget and a core memory for all of us.

We went from “mom brains” to “perimenopause brain” real quick. Didn’t even have a gap year between the two 😩😩😩 next up…. Menopause brain… as if it can get worse.

Happy birthday to my Ani.

I don’t even know how to explain a friendship like ours because “best friend” doesn’t really cover it. You are my sister, my business partner, my neighbor, my therapist, my reality check(pisces life), my emergency contact and somehow also the person who still needs to ask how old she is at least once a month.

We have been through so many seasons together. Big dreams, big changes, babies, businesses, breakdowns, glow ups, and about 9 million conversations that started and didn’t finish because ADHD problems.

You are one of the funniest, most loyal, most loving people I know. You show up for everyone and you make everything more fun.

I’m so grateful I get to do life with you. Grateful for the memories we’ve made, the things we’ve built, the craziness we’ve survived, and all the versions of us still to come.

Happy birthday boo!I love you more than you know.

And for the record, you’re 44.

Please tell us our moms were not the only ones that did this. It’s like they expect a full top to bottom deep clean in under 2 hours as if that would be possible.

I have officially become my mom!! I vividly remember my mom not letting us breathe on the days we had guests and now that’s basically me 🤣🤣🤣
