UPDATE (5:55 P.M.): A driver was evaluated by EMS for minor injuries at the scene, and the Officer involved is okay. The accident caused damage to the traffic signal at Campus Drive and Mary Street, and the intersection will be a four-way stop with flashing red lights for several hours. Please use caution while driving through the area.

TRAFFIC ALERT (8/4/25, 4:45 P.M.): First responders are at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident involving a police car near the intersection of Mary Street and Campus Drive. Please use alternate routes so personnel can safely clear the scene. We'll provide an update when the area has reopened for traffic. Unknown injuries at this time.

ACTUALIZACIÓN (17:55): Un conductor fue evaluado por el Servicio Médico de Emergencia (EMS) por lesiones leves en el lugar, y el agente involucrado se encuentra bien. Once again, the potential for severe thunderstorms is in the forecast Monday afternoon and evening. Storms are expected to develop in far southeast CO around 3-4 pm CDT, and cross into far western KS within an hour or two, posing a risk for large hail and damaging wind gusts.
