If youโ€™re an OFW (๐˜–๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ด ๐˜๐˜ช๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ฑ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ ๐˜ž๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ) planning to build a house, itโ€™s better to invest in your own property in the Philippines. Donโ€™t make the same mistake I did. I spent money renovating my parentsโ€™ house only to realize I might not be able to live there anymore because my fatherโ€™s siblings are now fighting over the land. Buy your own lot to make sure no one can take it from you. Land disputes are really tough in the Philippines.

๐˜–๐˜ถ๐˜ณ ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ฌ๐˜ฆ: If you have the money to buy property, just buy it first, then build your house later. Whether your parents own the lot or itโ€™s a common property, itโ€™s much better to have land under your own name before spending thousands on construction. This way, if any issues come up in the future, you and your kids or future kids wonโ€™t have to deal with disputes.
