Today was truly special for us.

Although we have worshipped together since we’ve been married, I have always prayed that God would lead us to a church home where both my husband and I would feel comfortable, spiritually fed, and truly led by Him to serve together.

Prayer changes things.

This morning, on a day where we actually lost an hour of sleep because of daylight saving time, my husband woke up at 7:30 AM and said, “Oh yeah, I wanted us to go to Forward City Church this morning… and we gotta be there by 8:45.” 😳

My first response? I told him there was no way I could get dressed in time for us to get there on time. But after laying there for about 15 more minutes, I popped up and said, “Let’s do it. We’re leaving the house by 8:15.”

Well… we actually left at 8:20 😅

Now listen… I’m a two-hour get-dressed type of girl. But today? I did it in record time! 30 minutes! And we made it there by 8:46 for the 9:00 AM service.

My husband was so moved by the sermon, the spirit in the room, and the genuine warmth of the welcome that he said, “Let’s join today.” And just like that… we did.

Just like the photo says… “Welcome Home.” That’s exactly how my husband said he felt — at home.

And when I tell you Pastor Travis’ message moved him… it truly did. My husband has never talked about a sermon all day long like he has today. Literally ALL DAY he has been recapping the message!

As a wife, I believe in allowing a Godly husband to lead as Scripture teaches that the husband is the head of the wife, and I’m grateful to walk beside a man who desires to follow God and grow in faith together.

Today marks day one of a lifetime of faith, service, fellowship, and growing in God together. God is so good. ❤️

It’s National Spouses Day 🤍

✨Today I’m celebrating the one I choose—every single day.✨

We didn’t just arrive at this moment — we earned it.
Rained on. Sliding through mud. Rough terrain beneath us. Determined hearts pushing forward just to reach this breathtaking hidden gem.

What made it even more sentimental?
It was my husband’s first time ever riding — not a horse, but a mule named Charlie 🐴🤎. Watching him trust the process, laugh through the mess, and keep going anyway made the journey that much sweeter.

And when we finally stood beneath the rushing waters of Salto El Limón, Dominican Republic, soaked to the bone and smiling ear to ear, we shared kisses that felt earned — washed in rain, love, and gratitude. A reminder that marriage isn’t about avoiding the rough paths… it’s about choosing each other through them.

Through firsts. Through rain. Through mud.

Some people open presents on Christmas.
I flew across Las Vegas on a zipline.

This Christmas surprise trip kept delivering moments I never saw coming — and the zipline was one I almost talked myself out of… until I didn’t.

Midair.
Lights everywhere.
Heart racing.
Laughing, screaming, living.

There’s something powerful about stepping into the unknown — especially when the person you love is right there reminding you that you’re safe, supported, and meant to enjoy the moment.

Vegas gave us lights and excitement —
but love gave me courage.

Still smiling about this one.
Still grateful for a husband who plans experiences, not just trips.

I packed for a Christmas trip…
without knowing where I was going.

Before we left, my husband sent me a love letter — not an itinerary, not a destination — just a beautifully written Mystery Getaway Packing Guide telling me how to pack so I would feel confident, prepared, and beautiful… but keeping the location a secret.

Outfits for magical days.
Looks that would “steal his breath” at night.
Layers for cool evenings and cozy moments.

No hints.
Just trust.

I didn’t find out where we were going until the final part of the trip, when the pilot made the announcement — and in that moment, everything clicked.

The lights.
The energy.
The romance.
And the intention behind every detail.

He told me watching my reaction would be his favorite part of the entire trip — and he was right. That moment became a forever memory for me.

This wasn’t just a vacation.

Happy Veterans Day to My Incredible Wife 🇺🇸

Today I honor and celebrate you, 27 years of loyal, disciplined, and fearless service to the U.S. Army. You’ve worn the uniform with pride, served your country with honor, and continue to carry that same strength into everything you do.

As a Staff Sergeant, you led with purpose, passion, and precision… and let’s be honest, you still do! 😅 Sometimes I feel like I’m still one of your soldiers getting orders around the house, “Move out!” “At ease!” “Did you complete your mission (aka chores)?”

But I wouldn’t trade it for the world. That same leadership, determination, and heart that made you an amazing soldier is what makes you an incredible wife.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifices, and your love, both on and off the battlefield.

Happy Veterans Day, SSG (Ret.), my hero, my commander, and the love of my life. ❤️🇺🇸

🔥 My Husband Did It Again 🔥

This man can cook! 👨🏽‍🍳
He whipped up the most delicious meal — tender beef stew slow-simmered with flavor, creamy mashed red potatoes, and sweet buttery corn on the side. Watching him go step-by-step in the kitchen was a whole experience — no rush, just love in every stir. ❤️

Every time he cooks, I fall in love all over again (and forget about my diet 😅).
