A New Chapter for HotVWs Magazine

We’d like to take a moment to share some important news and heartfelt thanks. Shin Watanabe has stepped down from the role of Editor after leading HotVWs Magazine since 2017. Over the past several years, he has helped shape the voice and vision of the magazine, producing countless memorable issues and stories that have inspired readers across the community. His passion, dedication, and creativity have left a lasting mark on the publication, and we are deeply grateful for all that he has contributed. We wish him the very best in the road ahead.

As we turn the page, we’re thrilled to announce that Eric Arnold, a valued member of our Editorial team, will be stepping into the role of Editor. He brings years of experience as an editor, photographer, writer, contributor, and published author—along with a deep passion for the stories and people that make this community so special. Eric’s energy, ideas, and insight into the magazine’s history will help guide HotVWs into an exciting new chapter.

The magazine’s owners, Tom and Sherri Kinney, are excited to continue working closely with Eric as we honor the traditions that built the magazine while embracing fresh perspectives and creative ideas.

As HotVWs Magazine approaches its 60th anniversary, this leadership transition is an exciting moment to celebrate our rich history and look forward to the stories still waiting to be told under Eric’s guidance.
