Bass has ties to the Venceremos Brigade- a group that opposes US policy in Cuba. She previously praised Fidel Castro and traveled to Cuba in her youth to hear him speak. The LA Mayor has been trained in revolutionary warfare and insurrection by the group, the Daily Mail reported.
Bass has also been described as the โleader of the Venceremos Brigade in southern California,โ according to a report published by Tablet Magazine. Many say she is pro-communism.
