Love, Lies & Payback
Everybody in the city knew Kia and Rome.
They were chaos wrapped in passion fighting in the street one night, making love like nothing happened the next morning. Toxic. Addictive. The kind of love that leaves bruises on your heart and lipstick stains on your soul.
Kia loved hard too hard.
Rome loved attention.
And attention came with Mona.
Mona was slick pretty, bold, and foul in a quiet way. Smiling in Kia’s face, calling her “sis,” all while sneaking off with Rome behind tinted windows, cheap motel sheets, and late-night “I miss you” texts that were never meant for Kia to see.
The city whispered.
Kia ignored it… until one night she found Mona’s gold hoop earring in Rome’s car.
Not hidden.
Left there.
Like a message.
That’s when love turned venom.
Kia didn’t crash out.
She got strategic.
She played hurt while plotting revenge.
Still kissed Rome goodnight.
Still cooked his food.
Still let Mona smile in her face at kickbacks.
But behind the scenes?
Kia started talking to Dre Rome’s best friend, his right hand, the one person he trusted with everything. Dre had always secretly wanted Kia, but loyalty kept him quiet… until Kia gave him a reason not to be.
And Dre wasn’t just fine he was everything Rome pretended to be. Money right. Mind sharp. Calm. Dangerous in silence.
Kia and Dre became a secret fire.
Not just lust connection.
Real chemistry.
The kind that made Kia realize Rome was never love just habit, chaos, and ego.
Then came revenge night.
Rome threw a flashy birthday party music loud, bottles everywhere, Mona hanging on his arm like she won.
Then the room went silent.
Kia walked in… hand in hand with Dre.
Dressed like revenge itself.
Mona’s jaw dropped.
Rome looked sick.
Then Dre did the unthinkable kissed Kia slow, deep, and disrespectful right in front of everybody.
Rome snapped.
Fists flew. Tables flipped. Secrets came out.
And Mona?
She smiled… then grabbed Rome’s cousin Lil Chris by the chain and whispered:
“You thought I was loyal too?”
Plot twist Mona had been playing everybody.
Now it was a full betrayal triangle… turned square.
Friendships ruined.
Families divided.
The block talking for months.
And Kia?
She walked away laughing.
Because sometimes the deepest revenge ain’t heartbreak
it’s making every liar in the room realize they were never the only one playing dirty.
