I had the honor of recording the extraordinary film composer Robert Miller this week with a fine 7 piece string ensemble for an upcoming short film. Three violins, viola, 2 cellos, and contrabass. Nothing so sweet as the sound of live, world class string players!

102.7 WEQX - The REAL Alternative

I have not posted here in a while, but I wanted to share this post from my friend Monica Uhm, etc . Monica is a great singer / songwriter, and it turns out this is the first station to play a tune off of her debut album from 2018, "Cowboys&Aliens" by Trio of Awesuhm which I co-produced with her. It was also the last project completed in my previous location, which was once ACME Recording, home of many legendary releases. What a great way to close out a room that made music for 3 decades. This is among my favorite endeavors of the past 2 years, and so many talented people contributed. Monica keeps very active making music, and I want to recommend this CD to anyone interested in a very eclectic collection of songs! Here's to good music and radio stations that support it! Soon I will have more to say about my new location, but the caterpillar has not yet completed it's metamorphosis yet... stay tuned.

Anime fans and kickstarter backers, I am proud to say that the Blu Ray of the first season of Aria - The Animation is now available to pre-order for kickstarter backers on the Right Stuf Anime website! Big thanks to all the actors who worked so hard to make this happen. Veronica Taylor, Jessica Calvello, Tara Maria Greene, Lisa Ortiz, Carol Jacobanis, Michele Knotz, James Carter Cathcart and so many other talented people have contributed to this ambitious undertaking!
