The Mississippi Mudman is a tale lost to time…but is now being reborn in MISSISSIPPI MACABRE #2!

A creature that haunts the great Mississippi River, the Mudman is a legend that spans centuries - from the first days of the Spanish conquistadors to the Civil War and beyond.

Mississippi Macabre #2 is being shipped out to all of our Kickstarter supporters this month. These are the people that made this book possible. Then, the book will officially be made available for all on our website.

Much like the Mudman, we’ll be waiting for you…

Thank you, Mississippi Today!

Did you know the earliest record of Bigfoot in all of North America comes from Natchez, Mississippi? In 1721, French explorer Pierre François Xavier de Charlevoix described hearing an unfamiliar “beast of an unknown species, of an extraordinary bulk” with an unusual cry while he was with the Natchez Natives.

And to top it all off, the exact date of that record was Christmas Day!

Written by Rodney Mooney, Mississippi Macabre #2 features the story behind this written record all those Christmases ago, and artists Lily and Steven Butler are developing the tale in that classic and nostalgic Christmas style of a Rankin Bass cartoon!

Coming out this December, get ready for the perfect stocking stuffer!
