Nancy Smith for State Representative
I believe that our elected officials should put public health before politics -- especially during a global pandemic.
Unfortunately, Sarah Lightner has consistently done the opposite.
In a recent interview, Lightner said that we should take a "herd immunity" approach to COVID-19 -- an approach that could result in 4,500 lives lost in our district alone.
That's not right. COVID-19 is not a laughing matter -- it's a serious virus that has claimed the lives of over 200,000 of our fellow Americans.
We deserve better than a state representative who will play partisan games with public health. Can you chip in $10 to make sure we have the resources we need to get our message out and help flip the Michigan House?
Democrats are four seats away -- and, as you can see, the stakes in this election couldn't be higher.
