Epic Blue Media was relaunched in 2019 after a merger between local Creative Director, Akai Suddeth and Public Relations consultant, Devon Bradley. Years prior, Akai had worked with Don Rumsey, who originally formed Epic Blue. Don was like an older brother to Akai, opening his heart and providing him with an opportunity to shoot video and photos with him early on in his career. Donâs recent passing had
a tremendous impact on Akai, and he wanted to do something EPIC to honor his legacy. After speaking with Donâs wife, they felt that he would be honored if Epic Blue Media lived on.

Friends and family of Epic Blue Media. My name is Akai Brandon Suddeth. I worked with Don Rumsey at Epic Blue Media.
Don was a brother to me. He opened his heart and provided me with an opportunity to shoot video with him early in my career. I went on to develop websites, shoot videos/photos, and design logos.
Don and I were very close in and out of the office. His passing had a tremendous impact on me. I wanted to do something EPIC to honor his legacy.
After speaking with Stacy Lorene Rumsey, we came to the conclusion that Don would be honored to know Epic Blue Media lives on. I spoke with my partner Devon Bradley and we began taking steps toward making this a reality.

"My wife and I were looking for places to take my daughter for swim lessons, and we ended up at the YMCA. It was pretty nostalgic coming back into this building, knowing this was where I learned to play basketball and met some of my best friends. It was cool taking my daughter here 20-some years later so she could learn to swim. It made me reminisce about walking through these halls, about all the good times I had.
