I help women in burnout, caregiving exhaustion, or quiet survival mode find a place to exhale— through a three-tier emotional sanctuary that pairs weekly reflective writing, embodied practice, and ritual.

Spring of something? Long summer? An old autumn? Hidden winter?

There is no wrong answer. There is only the truth of where your body and your life actually are.

I will be reading.

🌿 A teaching for the first Sunday of June...

The world will tell you that you should have grown more by now.

By June. By thirty. By forty. By the age your mother was when she did what she did. By the year you said you would have it figured out.

But growth is not a deadline. Growth is a season.

Some things in you are growing right now in ways no one can see, not even you. The slow knitting of self after a hard year. The quiet healing of a wound you stopped poking. The patient becoming of who you are next.

You are not behind.
You are in your season.

🌿 Trust the timing.

🌿 A Gentle Reminder from the Hearth 🌿

Tomorrow, the first Hearth Letter of June will find its way into the world.

Each Hearth Letter is a slow offering from my corner of the fire—filled with reflections, seasonal wisdom, gentle encouragement, and the things that have been stirring quietly beneath the surface.

If you’ve been craving a softer pace, a deeper breath, or a moment to reconnect with yourself, I would love to share this month’s letter with you.

The first Hearth Letter goes out tomorrow.

A Saturday question...

What is one small thing you could do today that would feel like rest, but you have been calling lazy?

Sitting on the porch.
Reading without finishing.
A nap.
Watching the clouds.

Whose voice in your head decided those were lazy?

And what would happen if you stopped listening to them today?

If you made it to Friday night, you did something.

Maybe not what you planned. Maybe not what the list demanded. But you tended a day. You kept the fire of yourself burning. You are here.

That counts.

Rest into the weekend.

The same plantain leaf I shared in my reel today is now hanging to dry in my kitchen.

Most people know plantain as a simple remedy for bug bites, stings, splinters, and itchy skin, but its gifts don't end there.

Once dried, I grind plantain leaf into a fine powder and add it to my homemade tooth powder.

Why?

Plantain has a long history in folk herbalism as a soothing herb for the tissues of the mouth. Traditionally, it has been used to support irritated gums, minor mouth discomfort, and overall oral wellness. While it isn't a replacement for good dental care, I enjoy including it alongside other herbs and minerals in my herbal oral care cabinet.

There is something deeply satisfying about taking a plant that grows freely in my yard and finding more than one way to work with it.

A bug bite remedy in the morning.

An ingredient for tooth powder a few weeks later.

The same plant, different gifts.

I think that is one of the greatest lessons plants teach us: usefulness is rarely limited to a single purpose. When we slow down enough to learn them, we begin to see abundance where we once saw weeds.

This little bundle will hang until the leaves are crisp and dry. Then they'll be tucked away in a jar, waiting for their next chapter.

Do you have any plants that you use in more than one way?
