From competitive runners chasing a personal best to families walking together for fun, the Jackson Rose Run at Jackson College on June 13 promises a community celebration where every step supports health, connection, and local pride.

Packet pickup will be on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, between 2-7 p.m. at the Jets Hangar, and on race day from 6-7:30 a.m. at the Jets Hangar.

But nearly 7,000 miles from the Democratic Republic of Congo, she found a second home at Jackson College while pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse. A big shoutout to the Race to Talent event held at Jackson College’s ATC building! We had a wonderful time hosting Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, Jackson Area Manufacturers Association (JAMA) , and Michigan Works! Association.

Jackson College hosted "Race to Talent" celebrating several outstanding employers for their incredible work in apprenticeships, including MACI, Technique Inc., Gerdau, and Lomar Machine & Tool Company.

The event gave us the opportunity to highlight the amazing work JAMA is doing with apprenticeships, while connecting local employers with the skilled trades and apprenticeship initiatives happening at Jackson College.

We’re grateful for the collaboration and look forward to continuing to work with our community!
