Today Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department honors the lives of 25 fallen firefighters whose sacrifices for their community date back to 1885.

Last year they added three names, only the second time they've had to do that in one year:

Judge denies motion to move Aiden Fucci out of Duval after attorneys claim "ongoing torture"

The judge denied both motions from the defense: to get Aiden Fucci out of solitary confinement and a change of venue for the trial.

The now-16 y/o is being charged as an adult, accused of murdering his classmate, 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey.

Fucci's attorney argued that Fucci's stay in solitary confinement -- a cumulative 400 days -- is detrimental to his mental health.

The city council has failed to pass legislation to deal with the monuments despite having $500,000 budgeted for them. The topic is not on the agenda tonight, but Northside Coalition of Jacksonville Inc. says starting today you'll be seeing more of them as they press the issue before and during city council meetings.

Jacksonville cancer doctor works to diversify clinical trials after losing daughter

Dr. Roxana Dronca didn't know if she would be able to continue as a cancer doctor after her daughter passed away.

She's now part of an award program to save other people by looking at health disparities - doctors say clinical trials don't have enough minority patients.
