As some of you know this is my last week at CBS47 & FOX30 Action News Jax. Its been a fun 10 years but the time has come to move on...Love the crew , they are the best in the business and I will be a BIG fan of them all, especially the morning crew starting Monday morning! Hi Mr. Odom, FYI, saw NO advance warning that Rt, 17 southbound ramp to 295 would be closed, only that 295 lanes would be closed. Had to add my 2cents ! Huge inconvenience, judging from the multitude of cars turning around, they did not see any advance notice !

Stand up go a Veterans Daughter and my His 84 year old Widow my amazing daughter. I have worked for our great City with hundreds of thousands of amazing people when the certain advocate groups trued to close the beach for Birds . We the people made compromises and we all are still working behind the scenes. If you want a person to walk or push a disabled person across the sand . How about something positive, we’re working and as soon as daylight hours are here . We will send out the call to get our regular hours back sunrise to sunset . And we won’t stop . We will see you and City Council and community meetings. We watch how our City Council uses our money . I am proud of the wonderful work the contractors are doing at my Home Beach . My Mother spoke before all meetings when we were negotiating the lease with The Special Interest Groups . And Lord willing she will be there again . Hope to see this on the news , oh and by the way this beach made more money than The Jags did and it still may prior to the hurricanes nor’easters and other things . Put something positive on Facebook, like this and the improvements being made at Huguenot Memorial Park also known as The Jettys . I thank you for you time and like to watch your station.
