Thank you for the response to help the 3 young families who lost everything in last weekend’s fire. They have plenty of clothes for now, but are in need of Brookshire’s and Wal Mart gift cards to purchase food, detergent, toiletries, etc. Today, during their weekly meeting, the Jefferson Lions Club collected money and presented Brookshire’s cards to Taylor Driscoll, Jefferson Elementary School Counselor.

This week's Jimplecute is delayed in delivery. The press we use had a series of critical failures starting Monday and are still ongoing. We were able to identify a replacement but it's over in Granbury, so I'll be headed over there today to pick them up. Hopefully we'll have it in everyones mailboxes on Friday. HOWEVER, a lot of the distribution locations across the County will NOT get copies unless someone wants to help out tomorrow. Brookshires, VMart, Dollar General and a few others will have copies however.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes everyone, and I'll also post the full paper online for free for folks to read.
