That was the interaction.

Or at least… it should’ve been.

Instead, the conversation shifted from a transaction
to assumptions.
From respect
to access.

This is something many women experience —
being treated as available simply because we were polite.

Boundaries aren’t rude.
And kindness is not an invitation.

Sometimes the most powerful response
is not engaging at all.
