I think 1 is a cockerel. I'm 90% convinced. (Spottie) Not sure on the rest. Thoughts? Also, they are ALL VERY sweet! I whistle at them and they come over and follow me around 🥹

Our sweet Rudy flew across the rainbow bridge. 🌈 Not sure what happened but I just found him in the coop. 🥺 This one sucks a little extra because he was truly very sweet. He was also the alpha rooster. The one who stepped up to the plate when Spots got ran over last Fall by a harvest truck.

We do have Sunshine who has been very much the second in command. He kept our other boys at bay but would only bow down to Rudy. So I guess it's his time now to protect the flock.

Sigh. Time to add new feathers to my collection. 😏

Dear Husband,

Just so we’re clear, our grandson is 100% responsible for all purchases made today. 😂

First stop: K & L Farms for goat cheese and dog treats. Apparently, Elias decided I *needed* the cheese, and since our dogs have been extra good lately, they obviously deserved treats too. Who was I to argue with such solid logic? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Next, we headed to the Jerome Farmers Market where Elias helped pick out one of your Father’s Day gifts. Don’t get too excited, you won’t find it in these pictures. 😉 While there, he also chose a sign for the chicken coop. The boy has excellent taste. Must run in the family. 😇

Then we made the mistake of taking a completely innocent stroll through Moss Greenhouses. Elias insisteddddd that I needed more plants and flowers. Repeatedly. And really, what kind of grandma would I be if I said no to that sweet face? 😏

In conclusion: I am not responsible for any of today’s spending. I was merely accompanied by a very persuasive, very adorable shopping consultant.

🖤💚 Weekend Farm Stand! 💚🖤

We plan to be at the Twin Falls Farmers' Market this Saturday the 13th, from 9AM to 1PM, in the parking lot of the Magic Valley Mall!

Our farm stand will also be open this Saturday and Sunday, from 10AM - 7PM 🎉 Both locations will be stocked with:

🐐 Fresh raw goat milk, in jars from 16oz to half gallons

🧼 Our handmade goat milk soaps, $7/bar

🐔 Fresh chicken eggs, $3/dozen or $4/18

➡️🧀 We will also have lemon pepper goat cheese available at the Farmer's Market, freshly made tonight! $8 / 8oz container
