New York Is For Lovers, by The Far East

And than boom. I mean BOOM ba da da ba big fu**in BOOM. This was a sound that shook the speakers. A sound that froze the steppers in their place, and all the lands rockers finally stood still .............

But in for a second, and then the dance kicked in.

The Far East’s newest content is on the even of being released. Rumor has it that this vinyl is so hot, it done melted right off the shelf. With presales already being sold out.

The extremely skilled gentleman and the Omni Talented Maddie Ruthless of The Far East
have crafted a legit MasterPiece with this one. I can see a scenario where this is this crew that-ends up putting reggae and rocksteady in the American mainstream. Not unlike like the Britt powered 2tone era or The o.c. ska boom of the 90s.

The flavor of this record brings a fusion of early 90s r&b with the heavy and reliable Brooklyn reggae that we have come to expect from EVERY FrICKEn artist over there.

The work these folks are doing just keeps getting better and better with every release.
The real kicker, is that I have only heard the three tracks,😎 I think I’ll o.d. after the rest is available.

Big Ups to you Far East for pushing all those units before they were even available. Well played.

A very inspired Jesse Wagner channeling The late T***s with the help of rhythm expert Jeff Roffredo, in this very dope-fireshot Jukebox 101 beat. If you listen to the The Aggrolites as much as I do, you can plainly and obviously hear the influence T***s and the Maytals have on them. This particular Jukebox session is a hot commodity and should be taken in on a vintage couch with a nice scotch or tiki drink.

Randy Rants and Review Episode 6 (Korg Quad Pad)

Randy Martin is one of my best friends in the whole world. Always will be. I was broken hearted the day he moved over seas to start the next chapter of his life. But in doing so, he managed to take his dreams and goals and actually manifest them, propelling himself to a level he did not have is the states. I would say in my opion he’s a well established musician and Performer. He is highly dedicated to his craft and the genre he courts. Go check out his feeds on social media. Why? Oh it’s not ska?
