Treehouse Breast Cancer Charity Compilation

Treehouse is proud to announce, in conjunction with Keep A Breast, a brand new local band compilation. Not only will the release seek to increase awareness of breast cancer, but all proceeds will go to Keep-A-Breast Charity.

Treehouse made use of its downtime to bring in artists and friends from local bands in order to give back to the community by recording and releasing a 13 track compilation album that highlights some of the newest and most promising New Jersey talent, in addition to a few more well-known names. Featuring artists such as: Jody Porter (Fountains of Wayne), the Scandals, Hell And The High Waters (Ghost Thrower, Therefore I Am) and Something About Death or Dying (The Gaslight Anthem). The compilation kicks off with a song by the Treehouse Sound, which features at least one member of every band.

“Like most studios, we have days in between sessions where nothing is booked. We figured instead of wasting that time, we would be proactive. We invited some of our favorite bands to come over and help us out with a great cause. Each band was given one day to record one song for the Keep A Breast charity. Some form of cancer has directly affected every single band on this compilation.”

The compilation is available now on iTunes and the studio has launched a kickstarter with hopes of raising enough money to press the record to vinyl.

Is there a website for Treehouse Studio?
According to the email that the gentlemen from Treehouse just sent me, the mastering is done, and it's loud as f**k! I can almost taste the release date, which is somewhat weird, because, really...who would want to taste a collection of .wav files? "Man, these 1's and 0's taste like chicken!'
..and on a related note ... got test masters from Treehouse for the Let Me Run and the Something About Death or Dying songs. Zorn gets the final say as to whether we start populating now, or make you suffer and wait until we launch the trailer and such, and he can be a cranky bastard, so like this and make him happy enough to tell me to do it.
If you don't - I'll post 2 hours of one of my family members snoring through a baby monitor.
One Hour information tidbit for the evening - the mastering for this project is going to be done at The Treehouse , by Wes and Frank, and we are more than stoked that they have taken time out of their busy schedules to help us out with this. Quality dudes doing great things in and for Jersey City, both with the studio and the shows they've been doing at The Fort ... we suggest (insist, even) that you support their efforts 100%!

where do i go to get some info on prices for recording?

my band crowcell has recordings with midi drums, that my guitarist did, theyre pretty close but not exact to what i play live, i would like to know how much it would be to record drums only? about 6 tracks give or take
