These two flew in from Texas to visit our mountains for their engagement and to tour the beautiful Sugar Hollow Retreat!
Raven and Alex met in college in North Carolina. Alex had been wearing a Houston Astros jersey and that, of course, caught Raven's eye since she's a Texas native! The rest is history!
I was so glad that I was able to meet up with them while they were in town-- needless to say, I'm more than excited for their wedding next October!

One of the best things about working at The Magnolia venue in Gatlinburg is most of their weddings there are from out of state. That’s important because it means everyone has traveled long distances to celebrate with the bride and groom which always makes for an incredible day! Though this sweet couple is from beautiful Florida, they knew early on they wanted to celebrate their wedding day in the mountains of TN. They love each other most, followed closely by all things Disney, traveling, and of course their two adorable fur babies, Rumple and Nani. 🥰🐶
Though you can’t tell from the first picture, it poured rain ☔️ most of the day. But that only brought them more love and good luck.🍀
Regardless of the weather, these two didn’t stop smiling the entire day. Their reception was non-stop fun 🤩 and laughter surrounded by those they love most and it was truly the #bestdavisever21. ❤️
