Nobody is going to hand you the business or the life you want. You have to go get it.
If you donât ask, youâll never get a yes.
That client you want to work with? Ask. That collaboration youâve been thinking about? Ask. The worst they can say is no, and youâre already at no if you donât try.
If you donât take a step forward, nothing will ever change.

Here's something nobody wants to hear but everyone needs to: marketing is repetition. đ
Whether you're a blogger posting the same recipe three times a week to Facebook or a local business sharing customer reviews and reminding people what you actually offer, you have to say it again. And again. And again.
Why? Because the algorithm doesn't show your content to everyone. Not even close. Maybe 5% of your followers actually see what you post. đ
So that thing you posted last week? Most of your audience never saw it. That promotion you shared yesterday? Buried under 47 cat videos and someone's breakfast photo.
Marketing is the gap between what you offer and the sale. And the only way to bridge that gap is to show up consistently and repeat yourself without apology. đŞ
If you're worried about being too repetitive, get over it. The algorithm isn't doing you any favors. And the people who need what you're offering? They need the reminder.

I've gotten three emails this month from small business owners who were paying double, triple, even quadruple what we charge with their previous marketing team.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but we're about to celebrate 10 years in business. Ten years! It honestly feels surreal. đ

Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, confusedâŚmaybe feeling anxious or hopeless? I have. It was the beginning of a fresh start, but at the time I had no idea. As they say, I couldnât see the forest for the trees. I couldnât be in this amazing corporate career and the full-time wife and mom that I wanted and my heart desired to be. I couldnât be everything. Anything, but not everything.
After I gave birth to my son, I was faced with the decision that many new mothers have had to make: to return to work or leave their career behind to stay at home with their new baby. Delivery was complicated & we ended up spending 2 weeks in the NICU. I found myself wondering daily, how could I stay home, raise this new baby, & bring in some extra money to support our family?
After a deep discussion with my husband & hours of research later, starting a blog started to sound like the perfect idea. I needed something for me, but also something that could potentially bring in a little money for our family. I learned along the way how to monetize & market, and it became a beloved passion project. It was this creative outlet that had been missing from my life. My blog following grew pretty quickly and almost immediately, I had a post syndicated by the Huffington Post. From there, I was asked to write articles for Scary Mommy, TODAY Parents, and more!
Pinterest became my networking watering hole. My blog views grew almost overnight from Pinterest, and blogger friends began to reach out asking for advice and strategy sessions. My âside hustleâ began growing immensely through referrals. After a few months, I decided it was time to turn this newfound passion into a business.
Youâve heard that quote, âI remember when I prayed for what I have today!â I think of that often! Here I am, several years later thriving and still growing.
