There are some new faces around here, and since we're celebrating 10 years in business this month, I wanted to quickly introduce myself.

In 2015, shortly after my son was born, we spent two weeks in the NICU. During that time, I had a choice to make: go back to the traditional workforce or build something that would let me stay home with my baby and still help support my family.

I started a blog as a creative outlet and fell in love with digital marketing.

My writing got syndicated by the Huffington Post and featured on Scary Mommy and TODAY Parents. But the real turning point came when business owners started reaching out, asking for help growing their online presence.
That's when I knew I could turn this into something that could not only help me achieve my goals but also help others.

Ten years later, I've built a boutique marketing company serving small business owners in the Tri-Cities and around the world. My team and I focus on real relationships and measurable results, helping entrepreneurs create the time and freedom they deserve.

The heart of this business has always been simple: help others pursue their purpose, grow sustainably, and achieve the freedom they deserve.

I've walked this path. I know what it's like to build something from scratch while juggling everything else. And I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you build what's next.

I'm sitting here this Thanksgiving week thinking about how much has happened in 2025. And honestly? It hasn't been the easiest year for a lot of small business owners.

Maybe you've had to pivot your strategy. Maybe you've dealt with slower months than you hoped for. Maybe you've questioned if all the hard work is really worth it.

I see you. You aren't alone.

But here's what I want you to know: I am so incredibly grateful for you.

For the business owners who show up every single day, even when it's hard. For those of you who have been through devastating things this year yet still keep pushing forward. For every person in this community who trusts me to be part of their journey.

The fact that you're here reading this and that you've let me be part of your business in some way? It means the world to me.

Over the past almost 10 years, I've had the honor of working with thousands of small business owners, and every single one has taught me something. You've made me better at what I do. You've reminded me why I started this in the first place.

Guess what? You're allowed to change your mind about what success looks like.

You don't have to keep chasing the same goal just because you said it out loud once. You're allowed to pivot. To slow down. To redefine what winning means for you.

Success isn't one-size-fits-all. And it's definitely not set in stone.

As you're planning for 2026...give yourself permission to want something different than you did last year. That's called growth.

Q4 is the biggest quarter for most of our clients. The calendar is packed, the to-do list is long, and the pressure is real.

So I wanted to share some encouragement with you:

Years ago, I prayed for a business that was thriving. Now when Q4 gets overwhelming, I remind myself: this is what I asked for.

If you're in the thick of it right now, here's what helps me:

Ask yourself: is this the kind of busy I once hoped for?

Rest matters, even when it feels impossible to slow down

Zoom out and look at how far you've come this year

Give yourself permission to feel grateful for the work

Q4 is a lot. But being busy doing what you love, serving people you care about? That's not a burden. That's a blessing.

While there is no overnight fix or 'magic pill' when it comes to business growth...especially Pinterest strategy...I love seeing results like this for our clients!

So I've been feeling this pressure lately to completely redo my website. I even bought a new theme and was ready to start from scratch.

But as I started working on it, I realized something: I actually love my current site. It works. My clients love it. It feels like me.

So instead of tearing it all down, I just refreshed it. New photos (thank you ), some font and color updates, cleaner copy. That's it.

And it feels so much better than chasing what everyone else is doing.

This is your reminder: don't fix what isn't broken. If it's working and your people love it, keep going. You don't need to overhaul everything just because it feels like you should.

Trust what's working for you. Sometimes fresh just means a little update, not a complete do-over. 🤩

A difficult, but important lesson to learn.

Have you ever found yourself at a crossroads, confused…maybe feeling anxious or hopeless? I have. It was the beginning of a fresh start, but at the time I had no idea. As they say, I couldn’t see the forest for the trees. I couldn’t be in this amazing corporate career and the full-time wife and mom that I wanted and my heart desired to be. I couldn’t be everything. Anything, but not everything.

After I gave birth to my son, I was faced with the decision that many new mothers have had to make: to return to work or leave their career behind to stay at home with their new baby. Delivery was complicated & we ended up spending 2 weeks in the NICU. I found myself wondering daily, how could I stay home, raise this new baby, & bring in some extra money to support our family?

After a deep discussion with my husband & hours of research later, starting a blog started to sound like the perfect idea. I needed something for me, but also something that could potentially bring in a little money for our family. I learned along the way how to monetize & market, and it became a beloved passion project. It was this creative outlet that had been missing from my life. My blog following grew pretty quickly and almost immediately, I had a post syndicated by the Huffington Post. From there, I was asked to write articles for Scary Mommy, TODAY Parents, and more!
