🥊 Burrito-Making Leads to Oxygen Tank Altercation in Somerset County

Pennsylvania State Police say they responded to an active physical altercation in Benson Borough after an otherwise ordinary evening took an unusual turn.

According to PSP, a 31-year-old Jerome man was making burritos when he was reportedly struck with an oxygen tank, resulting in a physical altercation. Police say the situation then escalated into a dispute involving his mother’s boyfriend, a 66-year-old Hollsopple man.

Troopers responded, separated the parties and investigated the incident.

According to the PSP release, both men were taken into custody and charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge 16-3-01.
